So I'm reading The Love Dare and I'm on day four. I think that it's going pretty well, although I'm not sure if it feels like I've done anything differently. Ok, ok, so maybe I've had to bite my tongue a couple of times and write the word patience on my hand for four days straight but hey, who's perfect?! The truth is I have a great relationship and just want to make myself a better woman for him. Patience isn't exactly an easy thing for me to come by but I can say that I'm honestly trying. It really shouldn't be a hard task to refrain from saying anything negative to your loved one...but in fact sometimes it can be. I just have to remember to be quick to listen and slow to anger, that sounds easy...right??
I bought Darren a card today that is so perfect (I was supposed to do this yesterday, my day three task...oops). It basically tells him that he's wonderful and my best friend. I hope he believes it because it's true.
I did the day four "phone call" today and am not sure if it seemed out of the ordinary. I think that we make those phone calls to each other on a daily basis so it doesn't feel like I'm doing anything extra. Maybe it's a good thing that I forgot the card yesterday to make up for the ordinary phone call lol.
